Semester Start Dates: Spring Semester:March 1st, 2008 Fall Semester: September 1st, 2007(group deadlines have passed) Teach Abroad, Inc., to better meet the needs of our clients, is able to put together individual packages, in which we purchase each item of your "travel program" seperately. This is an effective way for you to save on upfront costs Heres how the individual program works: After we have conducted an interview with you, and found your position, you will be submitted a contract. The contract should be accepted or rejected within 7 days of the contract submital. From the time that contract is signed, teachers have 7 days in which to send Teach Abroad, Inc. all fees. The fee breakdown follows: $350 processing fee (mandatory) *All applicants will have to purchase a visa and airfare to get to China. Costs through Teach Abroad for all additional services are listed in "Optional Services through Teach Abroad" section below. You do not have to purchase these serivces through Teach Abroad, Inc. TOTAL DUE: $460 within 7 days of signing a contract. How to save on upfront costs with our "optional pricing plan"? We will work with you to find the "best fit" airfare solution for your budget. Teachers wishing to save money before departure will be offered the lowest fares on 1-way tickets to China. Your return ticket would then be purchased by your school upon completion of your contract. This option can save teachers up to $500 in pre-departure costs. Your insurance will be purchased individually. Teach Abroad, Inc. recommends that ALL of its clients purchase insurance through Teach Abroad, Inc. and our partners at IMG. This information is supplied to all teachers. Teachers can save on up front costs by not purchasing the entire insurance package in advance, and purchasing just one or two months worth up front, while making arrangements for further installments to be paid later. Our 5-night tour of Beijing with Peking Duck Dinner and Orientation, taking place at the start of every fall and spring semester, can be purchased (as available) until 2 weeks before the departure date for the semester program (fall is August 8th deadline).
